Terms and Conditions, Reservation and Cancellation Policy "Sleeping Barrel"

1. Reservation:

A written reservation is only valid once the deposit has been credited to our account and has been confirmed by us in writing. Unless you receive written confirmation from us that the reservation is accepted without advance payment. Please note our minimum stay requirements for the sleeping barrel. The minimum stay is three nights in the low season and five nights in the high season.

For a binding reservation, a prepayment of €40 per night must be made in advance. The deposit will be fully credited towards the accommodation fees. In the event of early departure, the deposit will only be credited up to the amount of the invoice; no refund will be made.

By submitting a written reservation, the camping guest enters into a binding contract for the specified period. However, a written booking confirmation from the campsite is required. Please check the booking confirmation immediately upon receipt for accuracy. By completing the reservation form, you accept our "Current Notices" on the homepage, the information under "Sleeping Barrel" (overnight stay in the sleeping barrel as well as prices), the privacy policy, as well as our terms and conditions including reservation and cancellation policies.

2. Cancellation fees:

A delayed arrival, cancellation or interruption of your stay (e.g. due to illness, weather, car breakdown, etc.) cannot be charged to us. We recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance in case of unforeseen events (e.g. Ergo – see link on our homepage under "Service").

You may withdraw from the reservation at any time. Cancellation of the sleeping barrel must be made in writing (by email to camping-ortnerhoft-onlinede or by letter). The decisive factor for the timing of the cancellation is the receipt of the cancellation notice (deadlines as listed below).

Sleeping Barrel

-In case of cancellation up to 30 days before the reserved arrival date, the deposit will be refunded minus a €20 processing fee.

-In case of cancellation 29 to 15 days before the reserved arrival date, 50% of the deposit will be refunded minus a €20 processing fee.

-In case of cancellation less than 15 days before the reserved arrival date, the deposit will not be refunded.

If a cancellation is not made within the deadline or if the stay is shortened, the booked period will be charged according to the fees listed in the valid price list (persons/sleeping barrel – excluding visitor’s tax), minus the deposit paid.

3. Arrival:

The sleeping barrel will be available to you on the day of arrival during the stated opening hours in the afternoon. Arrival in the morning may be possible in exceptional cases if approved by the campsite management. If your arrival is delayed and you arrive outside office hours, please make sure to inform us by phone (Tel. No. 08663/1764) during office hours.

Upon taking over the sleeping barrel, the tenant assumes responsibility for it and is liable for all damages caused by themselves or accompanying persons.

4. Departure/Payment:

On the day of departure, we kindly ask you to settle the bill and vacate the sleeping barrel by 10 a.m., unless the campsite management has expressly agreed to a later departure. Electricity will be charged according to consumption upon departure. Fees can be paid either in cash or by EC/debit card. Credit cards are not accepted. You can find our current prices on our homepage under "Sleeping Barrel". It is the responsibility of the camping guest to inform themselves about the prices applicable during the booked period before making a reservation or starting their stay.

5. Please note:

The sleeping barrel will be held for you until 10 a.m. on the day following the planned arrival date. If no notification of a later arrival is received by then, the sleeping barrel may be reassigned without compensation. Reassignment by us does not constitute the provision of a substitute tenant.

The camping guest is obliged to comply with the regulations and rules according to the campsite regulations. These can be found on our homepage or posted on the notice board at reception and at the sanitary building.

Any complaints must be reported immediately to the campsite management by the camping guest. Claims for defects are excluded if they are not reported at the reception during the guest’s stay. The campsite operator will attempt to remedy them within the scope of their possibilities.

During the low season, the campsite operates with limited opening hours (these can be found on our homepage at www.camping-ruhpolding.de).

Camping Ortnerhof is entitled to withdraw from the rental contract if the rental object cannot be made available due to force majeure. In this case, the guest will be informed immediately and any payments made will be refunded. Any further claims are excluded.

If, due to unforeseen events or official orders, our campsite has to close or travel is generally not permitted, you will receive your deposit back minus a €20 processing fee. Alternatively, you may rebook your stay to another period within the calendar year (01/05 – 31/10), in which case the prepayment will be fully credited. If you are already at the campsite and the government orders a closure, only the days up to the closure will be charged.

We recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance.
