GTCs, Cancellation and Reservation Conditions "campsite"

1. Reservation:

A written reservation is only valid once the deposit has been credited to our account and has been confirmed by us in writing. Unless you receive written confirmation from us that the reservation is accepted without advance payment. Please note our minimum stay requirements under "Current Notices".

For a binding reservation, a prepayment of €100 (incl. €20 processing fee), €150 during the Biathlon World Cup (incl. €20 processing fee), must be made in advance. The deposit will be fully credited towards the camping fees. In the event of early departure, the deposit will only be credited up to the amount of the invoice; no refund will be made.

By submitting a written reservation, the camping guest enters into a binding contract for the specified period. However, a written booking confirmation from the campsite is required. Please check the booking confirmation immediately upon receipt for accuracy. By completing the reservation form, you accept our "Current Notices", the privacy policy, as well as our terms and conditions including reservation and cancellation policies.

We will do our best to accommodate your pitch preferences. However, the campsite operator reserves the right to change the requested pitch number to a similar category/location even after the booking confirmation has been issued, for operational or organizational reasons.

2. Cancellation fees:

A delayed arrival, cancellation or interruption of your stay (e.g. due to illness, weather, car breakdown, etc.) cannot be charged to us. We recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance in case of unforeseen events (e.g. Ergo – see link on our homepage under "Service").

You may withdraw from the reservation at any time. Cancellation of the pitch must be made in writing (by email to camping-ortnerhoft-onlinede or by letter). The decisive factor for the timing of the cancellation is the receipt of the cancellation notice (deadlines as listed below).

-BIATHLON WORLD CUP (applies to all dates falling within the World Cup week from 03/01–12/01/2027)

If a cancellation is not made within the deadline or if the stay is shortened, the booked period will be charged according to the fees (persons/pitch – excluding visitor’s tax) as per the valid price list.

-If a cancellation is made no later than 15/11, you will receive a refund of the prepayment of €150, minus a €20 processing fee, i.e. €130.

-In case of cancellation no later than 30/11, the prepayment will be retained.

-In case of cancellation from 01/12 onwards, the prepayment will not be refunded and the booked period will be charged according to the fees (persons/pitch).

-In case of late arrival or early departure, the fees per night will be charged according to persons/pitch.

-from 01/01–31/12 (except Biathlon World Cup – see previous section)

If a cancellation is not made within the deadline or if the stay is shortened, the minimum stay specified by us will be charged according to the fees (persons/pitch – excluding visitor’s tax) as per the valid price list. The remaining booked days will be charged with a daily cancellation fee of €15.

-In case of cancellation up to 14 days before the agreed arrival date, you will receive a refund of the prepayment of €100, minus a €20 processing fee, i.e. €80.

-In case of cancellation less than 14 days before the agreed arrival date, the prepayment will be retained.

-In case of cancellation less than 7 days before the agreed arrival date, the prepayment will not be refunded and, for the booked period (except for the minimum stay), a cancellation fee of €15 per night will be charged.

-In case of late arrival, early departure or no-show, a cancellation fee of €15 per night will be charged (except for the minimum stay).

-In case of cancellation without a prepayment up to 7 days before the agreed arrival date, no additional costs will be incurred.

-In case of cancellation without a prepayment less than 7 days before the agreed arrival date, a cancellation fee of €15 per night will be charged for the booked period (except for the minimum stay).

3. Arrival:

The booked pitch will be available to you on the day of arrival during the stated opening hours in the afternoon. Arrival in the morning may be possible in exceptional cases if approved by the campsite management. If your arrival is delayed and you arrive outside office hours, please make sure to inform us by phone (Tel. No. 08663/1764) during office hours.

4. Departure/Payment:

On the day of departure, we kindly ask you to settle the bill and vacate the pitch by 10 a.m., unless the campsite management has expressly agreed to a later departure. Electricity will be charged according to consumption upon departure. Fees can be paid either in cash or by EC/debit card. Credit cards are not accepted. Our current prices can be found on our homepage. It is the responsibility of the camping guest to inform themselves about the prices applicable during the booked period before making a reservation or starting their stay.

5. Please note:

The pitch will be held for you until 10 a.m. on the day following the planned arrival date. If no notification of a later arrival is received by then, the pitch may be reassigned without compensation. This also applies to pitches that become available due to early departure. Reassignment of a pitch by us does not constitute the provision of a substitute tenant, as guests can generally be accommodated on other pitches.

The camping guest is obliged to comply with the regulations and rules according to the campsite regulations. These can be found on our homepage or posted on the notice board and at the sanitary building.

Any complaints regarding the camping pitch must be reported immediately to the campsite management by the camping guest. Claims for defects are excluded if they are not reported directly at the reception during the guest’s stay. The campsite operator will attempt to remedy them within the scope of their possibilities.

During the low season, the campsite operates with limited opening hours (these can be found on our homepage at www.camping-ruhpolding.de ).

Please note that fresh water at the various water points is only available when, in the opinion of the campsite operator, no frost is expected. There is no direct water/wastewater connection at the pitch.

If, due to unforeseen events or official orders, our campsite has to close or travel is generally not permitted, you will receive your deposit back minus a €20 processing fee. Alternatively, you may rebook your stay to another period within the calendar year, in which case the prepayment will be fully credited. If you are already at the campsite and the government orders a closure, only the days up to the closure will be charged.

We recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance.
